Sutton United has introduced a new attendance policy for supporters under 14, requiring them to be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over when entering the ground. This policy is part of a league-wide initiative by the National League to ensure the safety and well-being of young supporters.
What happened?
The new policy requires supporters aged 13 and under to be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over when entering the ground. The accompanying adult does not need to be a parent or guardian, but must be a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
Why it matters for Sutton United
The new policy is designed to ensure that young supporters can continue to enjoy matchdays in a safe and welcoming environment. At Sutton United, we are incredibly proud of the young supporters who help create the fantastic atmosphere at Gander Green Lane every matchday.
What comes next?
We simply ask that anyone aged 13 or under attends with a responsible adult aged 18 or over and that their ticket is purchased by an adult. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all supporters, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
As we head into the new season, we are excited to welcome our young fans back to Gander Green Lane. Next fixture: vs Tamworth (at home, 2027-02-16) (18th in the table).
